Filming within Freemasons’ Hall

There are several different looks within the building including art deco marble, wood panelling, traditional features, impressive corridors and original toilets.

There are multiple adjoining spaces allowing for cast and crew holding, costume, HMU and production offices.

Freemasons’ Hall has appeared in a wide range of blockbuster movies as a variety of backdrops from places like Iraq and Shanghai to even an alien spaceship.

The Vestibules An opulent Art Deco style with unique features

Starting with the Tower entrance and original cloakroom, sweeping marble staircases lead to the Vestibules.

Robing Rooms Full of period features, wood cladding and character

Several connected spaces are accessible from The Vestibules. Furniture is freestanding and can be rearranged or removed.

Gallery Suite and Ante Room The Gallery Suite is a spacious and striking room with traditional features

The adjacent Ante Room offers a slightly more utilitarian feel in the same historic atmosphere. Both can be used for filming or cast/crew holding etc.

Grand Temple Leading on from The Vestibules, The Grand Temple is a show stopping space

With fixed seating for 1,300 and the option to stage over to create a large flexible space. Rigging points in the ornate ceiling help to create a bespoke option.
