Join us for an extraordinary operatic event at the Freemasons’ Hall: Regents Opera presents Siegfried – the third opera in their new Ring Cycle - in an arrangement for 21-piece orchestra and the organ at the Freemasons’ Hall by Ben Woodward. This is the third piece of a large operatic collaboration between Regents Opera and the Freemasons’ Hall that will culminate in two complete Ring Cycles. The first opera, Das Rheingold, happened in November 2022, and was a huge success, being described by The Times as “The Future of Opera” and Opera Now magazine called it “Fringe Opera at its greatest!”, the second, Die Walküre, happened in May 2023 and was given 5* in MusicOMH “You will never get closer to the action in a Wagner Opera”.
This will be a fully staged performance in the centre of the Grand Temple.
Regents Opera is a leading fringe Opera Company, established in 2011 (as Fulham Opera), specialising in the larger works of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Conductor: Ben Woodward
