Jersey Freemasons took part in the Family Nursing and Home Care charity Colour Run Festival for the second year in succession. The Festival is a celebration of life for the whole family and raises funds for the costs of a palliative care nurse dedicated to terminally ill children on the island.
The Festival includes a 5km Colour Run (or walk), with participants passing through five colour stations where they are showered with a rainbow of environmentally friendly powdered paint. A team from Jersey Freemasons clad in branded T-shirts and bandanas – among them Provincial Grand Master Graham Spence – occupied the first colour station, showering participants with yellow paint. Great fun was had by all and a substantial sum was raised for an excellent cause.
