Lodge number: 10041

Close
East Sussex Services Lodge Logo
Biography:

The recruitment for this special interest Lodge is for those who have served or retired from the Armed Forces or any “Blue Light” Emergency Service, or both. It is intended that this should combine, both the atmosphere and friendship of Masonic meetings, and indeed strengthen this bond with an extra interest through which the brethren will have passed; and will be a beacon to those, who in many cases, feel that they would not have anything in common with Freemasonry.

The aim of the Lodge will be to support Military or “Blue Light” Emergency Service charities.

Emergency Services’ Lodge

Lodge number: 9676

Close
Emergency Services’ Lodge Logo
Biography:

The Emergency Services’ Lodge was founded in September 1998, principally to provide a focus for those currently employed, or who had previously been so, in the civil emergency services, colloquially referred to as the ‘Blue Light’ services.   Here, members meet in friendship and harmony, bound by the common experience of service to the wider community in situations of adversity.

Inter-service rivalry and banter provide a counterpoint to the dignity and respect ever present in the more formal parts of Lodge meetings, yet demonstrates the deep underlying bond of friendship forged among those who have experienced repetitive situations of emergency.
