We are a Lodge made up of Rugby enthusiasts – players/ex-players and fans of the game. We have rugby-themed “traditions” at our meetings. One of our primary aims is to support grassroots rugby in East Kent.

Sussex Motorcycling Lodge

Lodge number: 9871

Close
Sussex Motorcycling Lodge Logo
Biography:

Founded in 2012, The Sussex Motorcycling Lodge has cemented the closely aligned bond with the Fraternity which is Freemasonry.

Equality; Under a motorcyclists helmet and Leather’s It doesn’t matter what you do for a living or what bike you ride. An acknowledging nod to any passing biker, is a mode of recognition. Stopped at any point along the road, conversation is instinctively struck up between bikers of any persuasion. No side or question of the other guy’s background ever being considered.

Relief; Bikers also instinctively help each other without being asked. Unlike your average car driver who will usually simply drive past another in trouble, to see another Biker in distress is to stop and see what one can do to help. That is the spirit which we share in our Lodge.

Temple of Athene Lodge Logo
Biography:

The Lodge was consecrated in June 1994. Of the nearly three hundred Lodges in the Province of Middlesex, this was the first of its type in the Province.  It was founded as a research Lodge and does not carry out any Degree working.  Apart from the Installation, the meetings are devoted to receiving a "paper " or lecture on some aspect of Freemasonry.

Attached to the Lodge is a "Correspondence Circle", membership of which is available to any Master Mason (not necessarily of the Province of Middlesex) and entitles them to a Summons to each meeting and a set of annual "Transactions" comprising a set of the previous year's lectures in printed form.

Terpsichore Lodge

Lodge number: 9874

Close
Terpsichore Lodge Logo
Biography:

The Lodge was formed in 2012 by a number of senior Freemasons, mainly from the Stamford Lodges but some further afield.  It was formed as a day light lodge, meeting in the Stamford Masonic Centre at 11am of the 4th Tuesday of Sept (I), Nov, Jan and March.

After the short meeting, the members and guests have lunch along with their ladies / friends, in a white table Festive Board

Terpsichore, being the Greek Muse of music and dance, gives us a focus on these activities

Usually, between the meeting and lunch, we partake of some entertainment.  This ranges from a variety of speakers, to dance (we have had instruction in Line Dancing, Ballroom and Morris Dancing) and even a Magician.

Being a daylight Lodge, we tend to attract members from others Lodges, who for whatever reason, do not wish to be out and eating later in the evening.

We hold a Ladies Sunday lunch in the Spring, which is well supported and a very pleasant event.

We are proud of being a happy Lodge and although small, are also proud of our charitable donations.

The Lodge of Asaph was founded in 1870 as a platform for all of those who worked in the Theatres of Drury Lane mainly musicians and riggers.
